Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment annonce pour le 23 février 2016, le film THE LION GUARD en édition DVD avec les voix anglaises de James Earl Jones, Ernie Sabella, Rob Lowe, Gabrielle Union, Max Charles, Joshua Rush, Atticus Shaffer, Diamond White et Dusan Brown.
Des pistes sonores anglaise et française seront disponibles.
Kion, le plus jeune fils du Roi Simba, suit les traces de son valeureux père. Déjà intrépide et courageux, le jeune lionceau rassemble autour de lui d'autres d'animaux pour protéger la Terre des Lions. Ensemble, ils doivent apprendre à utiliser leurs aptitudes uniques et à travailler en équipe afin de maintenir l'équilibre du Cercle de la vie. Il est entouré de Bunga, un blareau maliceux, Fuli, un guépard aussi futé que rapide, Besthe, un hippopotame calme et serein, et Ono, une aigrette très bavarde.
