Dusty est surprise, bouleversée et irritée par la découverte du dossier policier de son amoureux, Jose Stern. En attendant que la colère de la charmante jeune femme s’apaise, le musicien au début de la quarantaine s’installe chez des amis. Les jours qui suivent, Jose tente de prouver qu’il n’est pas un violeur et qu’il est victime d’une vengeance.

TORONTO, ON. (May 21, 2015) – Adam Goldberg (TV’s “Fargo”, Saving Private Ryan, upcoming: “The Jim Gaffigan Show”) co-wrote, directs, scored and stars in the coming of (middle) age comedy about the life issues of a struggling musician in NO WAY JOSE, arriving on DVD and Digital HD July 7 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Canada. In the film, Jose Stern (Goldberg), an indie-rocker regulated to playing children’s birthday parties, gets kicked to the curb by the perfect woman -- if only he had known that while they were together. NO WAY JOSE also stars Ahna O’Reilly (The Help), Emily Osment (TV’s “Hannah Montana”) and Gillian Jacobs (TV’s “Community”). Audiences can enjoy deleted scenes and outtakes with optional commentary, plus filmmaker commentary with Adam Goldberg, Greg Pritikin and Eric Siegel.
Synopsis:
In this ‘coming of middle age’ story, Adam Goldberg stars as “Jose” Stern, an indie-rocker relegated to playing children’s birthday parties and at a crossroads in his relationship. When his fiancé discovers a dark secret, she kicks him out and his world collapses. With no other options, Jose is forced to stay at the chaotic home of a friend who’s married with children and also falling apart at the seams. As Jose becomes more desperate with nowhere to turn, he seeks advice from his burnt-out friends, his dysfunctional family and an alcoholic ex-girlfriend, all in an effort to find himself, his music and perhaps the love of his life.
Directed by Adam Goldberg from a screenplay by Adam Goldberg and Sarah Kate Levy and music by Adam Goldberg. NO WAY JOSEwas produced by Tara L. Craig and Adam Goldberg, with Tommy Levin, Jacob Pechenik, Corey Large, Alan Pao, Heather Toll, Earl Lewis and Zaggy Charles as executive producers. The film has a run time of about 98 minutes and is rated 14A.
