Voici le synopsis :
Ancien Marine blessé en opération, Jack Ryan s'est recyclé comme analyste économique et il travaille sur Wall Street. Lorsqu'il remarque des anomalies provenant de comptes russes, le jeune homme est dépêché sur place pour voir de quoi il retourne. Il découvre un lieu hostile et dangereux pour sa propre sécurité, un agent de la CIA issu de son passé qui vient à sa rescousse et un riche homme d'affaires aux activités louches. Afin de le coincer, Jack Ryan peut compter sur une aide inespérée : son amoureuse qui ignore tout de ses occupations secrètes et qui le soupçonne d'être infidèle.
